Giving the Eggs a Better Chance
Wanting to protect the fragile eggs, I knew I couldn’t simply leave them where they were.
The bedroom floor exposed them to accidental damage, foot traffic, and other household risks.
Using extreme care, I gently gathered the cluster and moved them to a sheltered area in my garden.
I selected a shaded location protected from harsh sunlight, heavy rain, and curious pets. The spot felt far more suitable for developing eggs than the middle of a bedroom.
As I carefully settled them into their new home, I couldn’t help but feel invested in their future.
I found myself looking forward to the possibility of seeing tiny hatchlings emerge in the weeks ahead.
