A Discovery That Sparked More Questions Than Answers
The lighting in the room made it difficult to see clearly, but one thing was obvious: these objects didn’t belong there.
Curiosity quickly mixed with a touch of unease.
Rather than touching them immediately, I decided to keep my distance and investigate first. I pulled out my phone and took several close-up photographs, hoping the camera would reveal details my tired eyes couldn’t see.

The objects appeared perfectly oval, smooth, and almost chalky in texture. They looked fragile and surprisingly uniform, as though they had been carefully crafted rather than naturally formed.
Yet despite the clearer images, I was no closer to understanding what they actually were.

The answer was surprisingly simple.
The mysterious objects on my bedroom floor were lizard eggs.
Suddenly, everything made sense.
The smooth surface.
The oval shape.
The clustered arrangement.
What had seemed strange and slightly unsettling was actually something incredibly natural.
Somewhere nearby, an unseen lizard had apparently found my bedroom to be a safe and sheltered place to lay her eggs.
